My ANGEL Friends - Book Review from real readers

A Fun, Creative Angel Book Kids Actually Want to Finish

This book was reviewed by two real readers — the Scotch brothers,  and they both genuinely enjoyed it.

What stood out most was how fun, creative, and easy to read the book was.

They especially liked that the book included short stories instead of long chapters. The stories were quick reads, which made it easy to stay interested and keep turning the pages.

“I liked that the stories were short. You don’t get bored.”

“You can read one and then do a page, and it doesn’t feel like homework.”

They also loved the variety throughout the book. With puzzles, games, poems, stories, coloring pages, and drawing prompts, it never felt repetitive.

“There’s a lot of different stuff to do.”

“It’s not just coloring. There’s games and puzzles too.”

One of their favorite parts was the drawing prompts, and they shared a smart suggestion for future books. Instead of simply saying “draw the angel here,” they’d love 3–4 guided steps showing how to draw a specific image.

“Like step one, draw the head… step two, wings…”

“That would make it easier to draw it better.”

Overall, both boys said the book was fun, creative, and something they’d recommend to other kids — especially kids who enjoy angels, art, and having lots of different activities in one book.

“It’s fun and you don’t get bored.”

“I’d do another one if there was a second book.”

💫 Author’s Note

I am so grateful for the thoughtful feedback from the Scotch brothers.

Hearing what real readers enjoy — and what can be even better — means the world to me. Their ideas, especially about adding step-by-step drawing guidance, are wonderful suggestions and will absolutely be put into action in future books. Thank you both for reading with such open hearts and creative minds. 👼✨

One of the greatest compliments was hearing the boys say they’d love a school visit and reading. I’ll admit — I planted the idea first, and I was relieved when they eagerly agreed! 😄 Sharing stories in person is where the magic truly comes alive.

Because let’s be honest — when kids don’t immediately shut an idea down, you know you’re doing something right. 😉

And if this ever happens, you can bet I’ll be bringing the angel magic, the art supplies… and probably a little glitter.

💋✨Until next time... keep loving & living your best life!

🦋Wishing you Love, Light & Sparkles!

Here’s a little trick I’ve learned: whenever something feels impossible , it’s usually just my brain doing its best dramatic performance, like it is auditioning for a soap opera. You know the type—“ Cue the violins, this project is clearly the end of me! ” But let’s be honest, most “impossible” things are just… big. Too big to swallow whole. 🌸Mom's Journals, entry #1

My dad recently found two journals that belonged to my mother and gifted them to me—what a treasure!  S he often wrote positive messages and quotes on index cards and placed them strategically throughout the house. I never knew, until today, that she also kept journals filled with these quotes and messages. I've decided to share the wonderful and inspiring entries from her journals with you. I hope you enjoy reading them and that they bring you inspiration or teach you something new. I'll be posting one page at a time, so I hope you'll keep checking back for more.
