💋 International Women’s Day

She wore red lipstick like armor.
Curled her hair like a crown.
Slipped into her heels and stepped into the world like she owned it.

Because she did.

She ironed collars.
She signed contracts.
She ran households.
She ran businesses.
She ran the show — sometimes without getting top billing.

They called her “sweet.”
They called her “proper.”
They called her “darling.”

They forgot to mention:
She was disciplined.
She was brilliant.
She was unstoppable.

A true lady knows how to set a table…
and set a boundary.

She knows how to bake a pie…
and bake up a plan.

Soft smile.
Sharp mind.
Steel spine.

So here’s to the women who came before us —
pressed dresses, handwritten letters, and all.

And here’s to the modern pin-ups —
building brands, raising babies, chasing dreams,
and still finding time to powder their noses before the next big move.

Darling, straighten your seams.
Fix your crown.
