๐Ÿง๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŽ™️ Lipstick, Laughter & Live Microphones... International Podcast Day — September 30 ๐ŸŽ™️

Well now... apparently September 30th is International Podcast Day. Just when I think we've officially created a holiday for everything, another one pops up!

But truth be told, I'm not mad about this one.

I love podcasts. You could probably call me a full-blown podcast junkie. Whether I'm driving down the road, folding laundry, working on a project, or trying to convince myself that cleaning is fun, chances are there's a podcast playing somewhere nearby.

This year, I even started one of my own — The Halo Hotline Podcast. It's a children's podcast designed to encourage, inspire, and sprinkle a little kindness into the world. There aren't a ton of episodes yet, but the future looks bright. So bright, in fact, I may need to wear shades. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

One of the things I love most about podcasts is the variety. I regularly listen to around 10 to 12 different shows, each bringing its own perspective, expertise, and personality to the conversation. We live in a time when knowledge isn't limited to a handful of television networks or newspapers deciding what stories deserve our attention.

Instead, we can explore ideas for ourselves.

Podcasts have become a giant scavenger hunt of knowledge, stories, opinions, and experiences. Some make us laugh. Some teach us something new. Some challenge us to think differently. And some simply keep us company on a long drive home.

Whether you're listening to true crime, history, business, faith, comedy, self-improvement, storytelling, or a couple of angels answering questions on The Halo Hotline Podcast, there's probably a podcast out there with your name on it.

So today, celebrate International Podcast Day by trying a new show, learning something unexpected, or finally starting that podcast you've been talking about for years.

Happy listening, y'all! ๐ŸŽง✨

๐Ÿ’‹✨Until next time... keep loving & living your best life!

๐Ÿฆ‹Wishing you Love, Light & Sparkles!

๐ŸŒธ Mom's Journals, entry #5

๐Ÿ”ฅ Fan the Flames Reflections from My Mom’s Journals, post #5 “Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames.” — Rumi I love this quote! And I love the little doodles in my mom’s journals , too. She was so creative, so artistic, and so full of joy. I miss her more than words can ever express. What I wouldn’t give for just one more day with her—sitting beside me in her physical form, or as she so playfully called it, her “ earth suit .” ✨ A Small Quote with Mighty Meaning I’m learning how to truly live out the wisdom packed into this small but powerful quote: “Seek those who fan your flames.” Why did I spend so much time with people who only wanted to dim my light—much less fan it? ๐Ÿ’ก Choose the Right People Life is short. So incredibly precious. There’s no time to waste on people who don’t support your passion, your purpose, or your joy. ๐Ÿ”ฅ There’s no space for “ flame-blowers ” when you were born to burn bright. So light that sucker up—and keep it on high! ❤️ In Memory ...

๐ŸŒธ Reflections from Mom’s Journals — Entry #16 ๐ŸŒธ You can’t give away what you don’t have. (often attributed to Wayne Dyer ) ๐ŸŒธ Be the kind of person that leaves a mark, not a scar. (often attributed to Jay Shetty , original origin is unknown) ๐ŸŒธ Love is not what you say, it's what you do. - John Hagee ๐ŸŒธ No one knows enough to be a pessimist. (often attributed to Wayne Dyer) ๐Ÿ’— Love Isn’t What You Say—It’s What You Do Let’s have some real talk about love. Not the mushy Hallmark kind or the kind that shows up conveniently after someone screws up and needs to “smooth things over.” I’m talking about real love—the kind that goes beyond words and dives into action. We’ve all heard those three little words—“I love you.” They’re tossed around like confetti at a New Year’s Eve party. But how often do we stop and ask: What do those words actually mean? Spoiler alert: It’s not always what it seems. Sometimes people say “I love you” out of habit. Sometimes they say it to manipulate,...

๐ŸŒธMom's Journals, entry # 19

๐ŸŒธ Reflections from Mom’s Journals — Entry #19 ๐ŸŒธ Abundance flows when we love what we are doing. ๐ŸŒธ  Examine what I believe to be impossible… then change my beliefs. ๐ŸŒธ  Let my loving soul guide my behavior.  ๐ŸŒธ  Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.  —Mark Twain ๐ŸŒธ  If your not doing what you love, you are wasting your time. ( widely attributed to Billy Joel ) ๐ŸŒธ  Forever is composed of NOWS! —Emily Dickenson ๐Ÿ’ญ Examine the Impossible  Examine what I believe to be impossible… then change my beliefs. Here’s a little trick I’ve learned: whenever something feels impossible , it’s usually just my brain doing its best dramatic performance, like it is auditioning for a soap opera. You know the type—“ Cue the violins, this project is clearly the end of me! ” But let’s be honest, most “impossible” things are just… big. Too big to swallow whole. So instead of brushing it off ( or chasing the ...
